Our Team

Jamie S. Lapin, CFP, CDFA

President

Jamie has spent her career on the cutting edge of the financial services industry. As one of the first advisers to earn the CFP designation she's been helping clients make rational and responsible financial decisions for many years. A series of family tragedies taught Jamie that a financial plan includes much more than a portfolio: in the "sandwich generation" the emotional and physical health of a family has profound financial consequences. Earning certification in divorce financial planning (CDFA), mediation, and deep study of behavioral economics allows Jamie to come to the table understanding that money is both a tool and a metaphor. Our decisions are never just about numbers but about our relationship to money, to our families, and our own history. Her unique ability to help clients get to the right questions allows her to tailor a financial strategy for each client's particular goals, challenges, and values.

Jamie has a grown son and daughter, a trilingual grandson (English, German and baby) and a grand dog.

She's a Scrabble player, movie and theatergoer and traveler, with a much more limited repertoire thanks to baby Konstantin.

Lore Griswold

Accounting Manager

Lore came to our office with an array of office and business talents. For many years, she worked as the private secretary to the vice president of a large insurance company. One of her responsibilities was putting together seminars throughout the country. She then became an account executive for that company, handling hundreds of insureds. Once her children started school, Lore quit working full time to focus on their needs. During that time, she produced newsletters for her homeowners association and the scouts, and was in charge of the distribution of the newsletters for all three levels of school. When not driving kids to games, she could be seen volunteering , from church, to school to on the ball field.

Having worked in finance for over 15 years, today Lore enjoys her position as the Accounting and Financial Manager. Being Quickbooks certified, her responsibilities include the production of our clients' Quarterly Reports as well as the daily bookkeeping and financial management of the office. As a native Hawaiian, Lore also finds time to create fresh, floral arrangements for the office.

When possible, Lore loves to travel, enjoys sports (especially pro football), and watching her two grandboys grow.
